I'm Swain Leung, a lighting enthusiast and home improvement specialist with over 15 years of hands-on experience. What started as fixing my first house's wiring has grown into testing hundreds of bulbs across every room, fixture, and application you can imagine.
Why I Created lights.wiki
I got tired of buying the wrong bulbs. Walk into any hardware store and you'll see 50 types of LED bulbs with confusing labels — “warm white” on one brand is 3000K, “soft white” on another is also 3000K, but you'd never know it from the packaging.
This site is where I document everything I've learned about home lighting so you don't have to make the same mistakes I did. Every recommendation is based on bulbs I've personally installed and used for months or years.
